Repairing a Hostaway Integration

If your Hostaway integration with Yada becomes compromised due to stale API keys or auth tokens, follow these steps to quickly repair the connection:

Steps to Repair

  1. Navigate to the Integrations section in Yada
  2. Click "Manage Hostaway"
  3. Look for the orange "Repair Integration" box
  4. In a new tab, open your Hostaway dashboard
  5. Go to the Marketplace and search for "Yada"
  6. If you already have a connection:
    • Click "Disconnect" (Note: This won't affect your account settings)
    • Wait for the disconnection to complete
  7. Click "Connect" and create a new public API secret key for Yada
  8. Copy the new API key
  9. Return to Yada and paste the key into the Hostaway Token field
  10. Click "Repair"

The repair process should only take a few seconds. You'll see a green notification when the Hostaway integration has been successfully repaired.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Ensure you're copying the entire API key
  • If the repair doesn't work immediately, try refreshing your browser
  • Check that you have proper permissions in both Hostaway and Yada
