Using Tags to Organize and Filter SOPs in Yada

Use Yada's unified tagging system to optionally categorize your Standard Operating Procedures, making them easier to organize and filter.

Yada provides a tagging system to help you group, sort, and filter your Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This allows for better organization and easier retrieval of specific procedures. The tagging system is unified across different Yada products, meaning the tags you use for SOPs are consistent with those available for Tasks, Conversation Logs, and other areas.

How to Tag an SOP

  1. Access the SOP: Either create a new Standard Operating Procedure or edit an existing one.
  2. Select a Tag/Type: Locate the option to assign a tag or type to the SOP. This step is optional but recommended for organization.
  3. Assign the Tag: Choose an existing tag from the list or create a new one that accurately categorizes the SOP (e.g., "Front Desk Operations," "Onboarding," "Sales Process").
  4. Save: Save the changes to the SOP. The procedure will now be associated with the selected tag.

Example:

If you are creating an SOP detailing the procedures for checking guests in, you might:

  • Name the SOP appropriately (e.g., "Guest Check-In Procedure").
  • Assign it the tag "Front Desk Operations".
  • Save the SOP.

Filtering SOPs by Tag

Once SOPs have been tagged, you can easily filter your list to view only procedures associated with specific tags.

  1. Navigate to the list view of your Standard Operating Procedures.
  2. Use the filtering options (often located near the search bar or top of the list).
  3. Select the tag(s) you wish to filter by (e.g., select "Front Desk Operations").
  4. The list will update to show only the SOPs that have been assigned the selected tag(s).

Benefits of Tagging SOPs

  • Improved Organization: Group related procedures together logically.
  • Faster Retrieval: Quickly find specific types of SOPs using filters.
  • Consistency: Use the same tags across different areas of Yada (Tasks, Logs, SOPs) for a unified organizational structure.
