Connecting Yada to your Guesty PMS
Getting Started
Integrating Guesty with Yada is a very easy process. All you’ll need is your API key from the Guesty marketplace! The integration process takes place in the background and usually takes only a few seconds.
Obtaining an API key
To start integrating Guesty with Yada you’ll need to copy your Guesty API key.
Here’s how you get it.
Please ensure you are logged into guesty as the admin account - as this is what will give you the right permissions to generate an integration token
1 - Head over to the guesty marketplace tab
2 - Search for & Select Yada
Once you are in the Guesty marketplace page, simply type in "Yada" into the search bar to find the Yada marketplace entry.
3 - Copy the Integration Token
When you are in the integration page, click the "Connect" button, which will open a popup with your integration token. Either select the whole token or click the copy button to add the token to your clipboard.
If you are selecting the token instead of clicking the "copy" button, please ensure that you have selected the entire token - double clicking on the token text does not select the whole thing so you may have to click and drag.
Using the Integration Token to Connect Yada with Guesty
1 - Paste the Integration Token into Yada
Head over to app.yada.ai and click on the integrations page.
Once you are in the guesty integration page, simple paste in the integration token you copied in the previous steps.
Once you have pasted your integration token, simply click the Integrate button. And you're good to go!
Connecting the Yada Chat Widget
1 - Copy Yada Widget Code
If you have a Guesty direct booking site, integrating the Yada chat widget is incredibly simple. Simply go to the Widget page in yada and copy the widget code.
2 - Paste Widget Code into Guesty Website Builder
Once you have copied the yada integration code, you'll need to head back over to Guesty and add it to your code snippet section. To get to this section you must first navigate to distribution page.
Once you are in the distribution page, navigate to the booking engine page.
Once you are in the booking engine select the site that you want to add the widget to. Click on the three dots and then on the edit booking engine menu item in the dropdown.
In the booking engine setup, scroll to the bottom of the general page until you see custom code snippet. Make sure it is toggled on and paste in the code that you copied from yada.
Once you have pasted the code click on next in the top right until you get through all the setup tabs. On the last tab the next button will switch to a Save Booking Engine button. Click on this button to save the changes.
Congratulations! The yada widget is now on your Guesty direct booking website, and is collecting data, enabling live chat, and serving popups.
