This guide will walk you through the process of automatically assigning different task types to agents and team members within your system.

Prerequisites

  • You must be logged in as an admin to access the required settings.

  • Ensure that your account displays admin under your email address.

Steps to Auto-Assign Task Types

  1. Log in as an Admin

    • Confirm that your role is set to admin under your account information.

  2. Navigate to Settings

    • Click on the Settings menu in your dashboard.

  3. Access the Agents Tab

    • In the Settings section, select the Agents tab at the top of the screen.

    • Choose the agent or team member you want to configure.

  4. Configure Auto-Assignment Settings

    • Once inside the agent's profile, set their Time Zone and Working Hours if necessary.

    • Locate the Auto-Assign Tasks section.

    • Choose from the following options:

      • Select All: Assign all task types automatically to this agent.

      • Select None: Prevent automatic assignment of tasks.

      • Select Specific Task Types: Manually choose the types of tasks that should be assigned to the agent.
